Mining Profitability

Daily bitcoin revenue, electricity cost and margin for any miner, from a single machine to a container, at the live bitcoin price and the network hashrate you enter.

What this tool does

A miner earns a share of the block reward in proportion to its share of the network hashrate. The calculator multiplies your hashrate by the daily issuance and divides by the total network hashrate, then subtracts electricity at your price and pool fees. Because the network hashrate rises for years at a time, the result is a snapshot, and the difficulty growth slider shows how quickly a margin erodes.

How to use it

  • Enter the hashrate and power draw of your machines and your electricity price per kilowatt hour.
  • Set the network hashrate and block reward; the defaults are typical values for 2026 and easy to update.
  • Read daily and monthly revenue, cost and margin, and the electricity price at which the machine breaks even.

Good to know

  • Transaction fees add a variable amount to the block reward; the calculator lets you set an average fee share.
  • Hosting, cooling, hardware depreciation and downtime are not included unless you add them to the cost.
  • Pool payouts vary with luck over short periods; the calculator shows the expected value.
