What this tool does
The converter uses the same feed as the board: crypto prices aggregated across exchanges, spot metal prices per troy ounce, and ECB reference rates for the currencies. Pick a source, a target and an amount; the result updates as you type and shows the implied rate underneath, so you can check it against your exchange.
How to use it
- Type an amount and choose what it is in: a coin, a metal or a currency.
- Choose what you want it in. Metals can be shown per ounce or per gram.
- Read the implied rate and the time of the last refresh under the result.
Good to know
- Crypto prices are aggregated across exchanges and can differ from the price at any single venue by a fraction of a percent.
- Gold and silver are spot prices for 999.9 fine metal; a coin or a bar costs a premium above spot.
- Stock and index quotes are delayed and are not available in the converter.
