This site is built to leave you alone. No tracking cookies, no advertising networks, no external fonts, maps or scripts. Market data is fetched by our own server and delivered from this domain, and the calculators run in your browser and send nothing anywhere.

Hosting and server logs

The site is hosted in the European Union. The hosting provider stores access data (IP address, time, requested page, browser) in server logs for security purposes for a limited period. Legal basis: Article 6 (1) f GDPR, our legitimate interest in a secure operation.

Market data

Prices on this site come from a script on our own server that queries public market data providers, stores the answer for a few minutes and serves it to you from this domain. Your browser only ever connects to this domain; no request of yours reaches a data provider, and no provider learns your IP address.

Contact form and the Signal

If you write to us or sign up for the Signal, our weekly email, we process the data you enter (name, email address, message) to answer you or to send the letter. Legal basis: Article 6 (1) a and b GDPR. You can withdraw your consent at any time by email; every letter contains an unsubscribe link. We keep contact requests for as long as the conversation requires and delete them afterwards.

Local storage

The calculators, the quiz, your currency choice and your poll vote are remembered in your browser's local storage. That data never leaves your device and you can delete it in your browser settings.

Poll

When you vote in a poll, a salted and shortened hash of your IP address is stored for one month so that a vote counts once. No IP address is stored in clear text.

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection, and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Write to the address above.
