Eight questions
The Skeptic
Prove it, then price it
You meet a new technology by asking who is liable when it fails. Regulation, custody, audits, the difference between a claim and a promise: those are your questions. You have watched more than one revolution turn into a settlement with a regulator, and you would rather be late than wrong.
Worth knowing: Your blind spot is the cost of waiting. Being right about the risks of the first version does not tell you anything about the tenth. Set a rule for what evidence would change your mind, and check it once a quarter so that scepticism does not harden into a reflex.

MiCA
Europe wrote the rulebook first
Since the end of 2024, offering crypto services in the European Union requires a licence. The result is fewer providers, better protections and a set of rules the rest of the world is now copying.

Stablecoins
The quiet giants
The largest product crypto ever built is not an investment. It is a dollar that moves like a message, it settles trillions a year, and in 2025 it finally got a rulebook.
AI & Computing
Regulation
The AI Act, for people who have to comply with it
Europe wrote the first broad law for artificial intelligence. It is a product safety regulation, not a technology regulation, and that distinction decides almost everything about what it means for you.

What is a stablecoin?
A token that promises to be worth one dollar. Whether it is depends entirely on what the issuer holds and whether it will give it back.
